Valera
Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are
limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on
the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any
potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your
doctor.
Breast feedingCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Valera
Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human
data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the
baby.
Valera Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
However,
patients should be alerted to the risk of hypoglycemia especially when
Valera Tablet is coadministered with sulfonylurea and/or insulin.
Valera
Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.
Dose adjustment of Valera Tablet may be needed. Please consult your
doctor.
However, the use of Valera Tablet is not recommended in
patients with end-stage kidney disease requiring dialysis due to a lack
of clinical data.
Valera Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Valera Tablet is recommended.
However,
caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver disease as
there are no clinical data about its use in such cases.
